We’re delighted to announce that Higher Health was shortlisted as a finalist in the Partnership Project of the Year category at the inaugural Greater Manchester Skills Awards, held on 3 July 2025 at the Manchester Monastery.
The awards, hosted by the Greater Manchester Learning Provider Network (GMLPN) and the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce (GMCC), and sponsored by Bud, celebrate excellence across the Further Education and Skills sector in Greater Manchester.
Although we didn’t take home the award this time, being recognised alongside some of the region’s leading organisations is a major milestone for Higher Health. Our nomination reflects the impact of the Skills4Living programme and the strong partnerships we’ve developed with colleges, universities and training providers across the city-region.
Lucy Mulligan, Marketing Director at GMCC, captured the spirit of the evening:
“Being shortlisted is an incredible achievement. The standard was top-class, and it’s a testament to the skills and creativity driving our community forward.”
For us, this recognition is a marker of progress and a motivator to go further. We remain committed to building partnerships that transform education and empower young people with the essential life skills to thrive.
This is just the beginning
