Andy Burnham – Leading with purpose: young people, opportunity and the future of Greater Manchester

Live online – hosted by Higher Health Peer Champions. Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester, joins the Higher Health Speaker Series for a conversation about opportunity, leadership and the role young people play in shaping the future of the city-region.
In this session, he will discuss the challenges facing young adults today, the importance of confidence and life skills, and why Greater Manchester is investing in programmes that support wellbeing, inclusion and readiness for work. Learners will also have the chance to ask questions in a live Q&A.
This event is open to all Skills4Living participants across colleges, universities, apprenticeship providers and community settings.
